Britt Medical Search is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join an OB/GYN practice in Shiloh, Illinois. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum settings, collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality maternity care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing with a specialization in midwifery.
• Active RN license required.
• CNM certification by AMCB.
• Illinois license, DEA and CDS preferred.
• 2+ years experience as CNM or Labor & Delivery nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope nurse-midwifery services including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, as well as well woman care and family planning.
• Maintain productivity to meet annual client encounter targets.
• Lead/interdisciplinary teams and contribute to annual health care plan actions.
• Perform history and physical exams for new and returning patients.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians.
• Refer patients to follow-up care or community resources as needed.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and bloodwork.
• Provide emotional support during labor and pregnancy.
• Monitor maternal/fetal vitals and identify high-risk pregnancies.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions during labor.
• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
• Support families through miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, and neonatal death.
• Maintain accurate medical records and hospital privileges as required.
