Job summary

Women’s Care in the Jacksonville area seeks an Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join a physician-led team, delivering quality obstetric and gynecologic care.

The practice includes 4 OB/GYN physicians and 6 APPs, with in-house sonography and a patient-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration and high-quality care across all life stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience as an RN
• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse-Midwifery program required
• ACNM Certification or eligible preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide independent care as Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Midwife) in a physician-led team
• Collaborate with OBGYN physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
• Participate in in-house sonography and support state-of-the-art diagnostics

• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse-Midwifery program


• Minimum of 40 deliveries during training


• ACNM Certification or eligible

As an Advanced Practitioner for Women’s Care, you will provide the highest quality of care as an independent provider in a clinical setting, working collaboratively within a healthcare team. You will effectively identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues to provide comprehensive women’s health care throughout the lifespan, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, and family-centered health education while administering quality patient care. As an APRN, you will also perform physical examinations, order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
