Unified Women’s Healthcare seeks a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join River and Coast Women’s Care in Northeast Florida.

Join a team with 4 Board-Certified OB/GYNs and 6 CNMs; responsibilities include prenatal management, labor & delivery, and gynecologic care in a collaborative setting. Excellent compensation and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse-Midwife via AMCB certification.
• ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery education program completed.
• Master’s degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pregnant and postpartum women and manage prenatal visits.
• Provide gynecological care including family planning.
• Deliveries and surgeries performed at affiliated hospitals (where applicable).
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

River and Coast Women’s Care is a well-established, patient-centered group with a strong reputation for compassionate, personalized women’s health. The practice offers comprehensiveobstetric and gynecologic care with modern facilities and a collaborative team environment.

Position Highlights:

• Locations:Two office sites – Southside Jacksonville and St. Johns
• Hospital affiliations: Deliveries and surgeries performed at Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside and Baptist Medical Center South; and soon to be Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Johns County.
• Team structure: 4 Board-Certified OB/GYNs and 6 Certified Nurse Midwives
• Call schedule: shared evenly among Nurse Midwives
• Patient volume: an average of 20-25 patients per day
• Evaluates pregnant and postpartum women including managing all aspects of pre-natal visits
• Provide gynecological care including family planning

Requirements:

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master’s degree in nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
