Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the Lifepoint Health team. You will provide OB/GYN care, support deliveries, and contribute to a patient-centered obstetric program.

The role includes a mix of OB and GYN, a busy delivery schedule (average 350 deliveries annually), Level I Nursery, and strong hospital backing. A first assist certification is preferred to assist with C-sections.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Midwife license to practice in NC.
• Experience in OB and GYN with room to grow in GYN.
• First assist certification to assist with C-sections in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN clinical care and support for deliveries.
• Assist with routine and complex obstetric procedures, including C-sections.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support growth of the midwifery program and community outreach.
