Job Summary:

Works as a member of the nursing team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse on routine assignments within the authorized duties of the CNA 2 Acute Care. Tasks are performed according to predetermined procedures with guidance and supervision provided as needed. The position supports RN in patient care delivery based on training and certification, focusing on patient comfort and safety.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Problem Solving: Complete work tasks as defined; refer complex issues to RN.
  2. Decision-Making: Use judgment to perform tasks; accept accountability for actions.
  3. Compliance Accountability: Support compliance with privacy, confidentiality, ethics, legal, and regulatory standards, including Kaiser Permanente policies.
  4. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; document accurately; verify understanding; address conflicts constructively.
