Title: Clinical Dietitian II - Long Term Acute Care

Location: Select Medical – Temple, TX

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Dietitian II at Select Medical - Temple (LTAC).

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing top-notch care to a diverse patient population. The Clinical Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs.
2. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes.
3. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care.
4. Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice experience.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition.
• Conditions of employment include working in busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
