Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment under the direction of a registered nurse.

In Assisted Living units, the role includes assisting residents with daily activities and promptly reporting status changes to the Charge Nurse. Requires NA I certification, NC registry listing, and completion of the NAI program.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience, preferred. 1 year of Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
