Job summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula provides assistive care under the direction of the licensed nurse. You will support daily patient activities, monitor basic needs, and communicate changes.

This 90% FTE night shift position with SEIU 1199 offers a competitive hourly pay range of $23.39–$34.22, with shift differentials and premiums. Requires WA CNA certification, BLS, and a high school diploma or CNA program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or CNA program completion.
• Minimum one year experience in long-term or acute care preferred.
• Current Washington State CNA certification and BLS certification.

Job Description

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) functions in an assistive role to the licensed nurse in the provision of patient care activities, and performs activities as delegated and directed by the nurse.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program

Experience

Minimum one year of experience in long-term or acute care setting preferred

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

• Current Washington State Nursing Assistant certification, required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
