Job summary

Partners In Care's Hospice House in Bend is hiring a CNA to provide individualized personal care per the care plan, ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity for patients.

You will assess patients with the care team, assist with mobility, meals, and daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and families during evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB test.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• 1–2 years of recent medical care experience; home health or hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to the care plan, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

What You Get to Do:

As a CNA at Hospice House, you'll provide personal care according to the care plan, ensuring patient comfort and privacy. You'll assist with personal care, mobility, and positioning, and guide family members or caregivers. Additionally, you'll prepare and serve meals, help with feeding, and perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.

Shift Available

3-12-hour shifts per week, weekends, and weekdays. Full-time (36 hrs/week).

Hours

6:30 PM-6:30 AM.

What You Get to Do:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid CNA License.
• Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• One to two years of recent medical care experience in an institutional setting is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home health or hospice experience.
• Current automobile insurance is required. A valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
