Job summary

Desert View Care Center in Buhl, ID is expanding its nursing team and recruiting a compassionate CNA for the Day Shift (6 AM–2 PM). On-the-job training and certification support within 120 days are provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support for daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating, etc.).
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Build relationships with residents to enhance comfort and stay.

Hours: We are currently hiring for Day Shift 6 AM to 2 PM.

Not certified? No problem! We will train you on-the-job, and help you obtain certification!

In addition, our CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
