Schedule: Part-time (2, 12-hour shifts per week), rotating shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist patients with personal care to promote recovery during hospitalization.
2. Perform basic nursing skills delegated by an RN, following policies and procedures.
3. Ensure a safe environment and safe delivery of care.
4. Support administrative functions as needed.
5. Maintain necessary skills and competencies.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:

$15.37 - $23.82 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS Certification.
• Certification to practice as a Nurse Aide in Virginia or meeting alternative criteria including completion of approved PCT programs, recent relevant experience, or national certification.

Physical Demands:

Frequent bending, stooping, and driving (Home Health Aide only). Ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs, and >100 lbs (Home Health Aide only). May be exposed to chemicals, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
