Job summary

Solaris HealthCare East Orlando is hiring full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate resident care. You will assist with ADLs, meals, and daily activities, while following infection control policies. Weekend availability is required and CNAs with BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and BLS required or preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or hospital setting is helpful.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and meals.
• Maintain infection control procedures and center policies.
• Record heights, weights, temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures as instructed.
• Report changes in residents' condition to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with documentation and care planning as directed.

Some of your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with ADLs, and work with the team to ensure appropriate resident care is provided
• Assisting at meals
• Following infection control and center policies
• Measuring and recording heights and weights temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructed
• Reports all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as practical
• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification by the State
• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Experience preferred, not required
