Job summary

Affinity Hospice in Bristol, VA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our home-based care team. The CNA will perform personal care tasks, observe patients, and report changes to the case manager, providing comfort and dignity to patients and families.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks after patient assignment and attend to requests promptly.
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely (foot stools, side rails, O2, etc.).
• Assist with baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens as assigned.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients; assist in feeding as needed.
• Assess and report patient condition and changes to the case manager.

The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.**Hours / Schedule:** Full Time; (40) hours / week. Works in patients' home in various conditions.
