Job summary

COX HEALTHCARE LTD in Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health changes, assist with meals, and promote engagement through activities and social programs.

You will maintain accurate care records, follow infection control standards, and offer emotional support and companionship to residents, while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma.
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults and individuals with complex health needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliability, compassion, and patience in all interactions.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Support residents in participating in activities and social programs to promote engagement and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering trust and comfort.
