Job summary

Specialists One-Day Surgery Center in North Syracuse, NY, is seeking a Housekeeper/Certified Nursing Assistant to support daily operations and patient flow. You will work with our nursing staff and care team to maintain a clean, safe environment and provide an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include assisting PACU/OR nurses, cleaning rooms and equipment, distributing linens, restocking supplies, and helping with patient transfers.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program preferred but not required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning stretchers/chairs and rooms in 23-hour area in between patients according to facility specifications.
• Distributes linen throughout the facility, removes soiled linen to the soiled linen room. May be required to fold linen.
• Distributes scrub attire clothing to staff locker rooms. Maintains stock level of blankets in warmers.
• Assists in ordering of supplies, maintaining stock levels of supplies in the nursing areas. Assists in unloading of stock and deliver of stock throughout the building.
• Changing depleted oxygen tanks in a safe manner.
• Assists with patient flow, transfers and toileting needs.

Clinical Full Time North Syracuse, NY, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $25.45 Hourly

We are looking for a Housekeeper/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Specialists One-Day Surgery Center! In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the center, working alongside our nursing staff, supervisors, and the full care team to keep things running smoothly and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Monday-Friday 9-5:30pm

Responsibilities:
