Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Ohio is seeking compassionate caregivers and CNAs for in-home care roles. You will follow a care plan, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while supporting client independence and comfort at home.

This role emphasizes reliability, ability to follow instructions, and reporting changes in a client’s condition. Certain positions may offer daily pay; opportunities to grow within our supportive team are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the client and report on completed tasks
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Provide routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Assist client with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in client's condition
