Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Abingdon, VA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our compassionate home care team. You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, nutrition, and transport clients to appointments, while monitoring changes in condition and reporting them to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Compassionate caregiver with patient-focus.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plan and report progress.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications (no administering).
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.

CNA Responsibilities:
