Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs or HHAs to provide in-home care in Lake Worth, Florida. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and companionship, along with light housekeeping and transportation support.

Requires a CNA license or HHA certificate, a valid driver license, proof of ID, background check, CPR, and background screening; training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID is required.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.) is required.
• Auto Insurance is required.
• Vehicle Registration is required.
• CPR Card (in person) required.
• TB or Chest X-ray is required.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check is required.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Medications CEU are preferred.
• 1 letter of recommendation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation, dressing, meals) as directed.
• Help with errands or medical appointments and companionship.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, laundry, dishes, cleaning).
• Support with exercises and mobility as advised.
• Use gait belts and lifting equipment when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
