Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, or HHAs to support clients in Lake Worth, Florida. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation assistance, and companion services to help clients live independently at home.

A valid CNA license or HHA certificate is required along with background screening, a valid driver license, auto insurance, and CPR.

Qualifikationen

• CNA license or HHA certificate required for employment.
• Level 2 background screening is mandatory for all candidates.
• CPR certification and TB/Chest X-ray may be required by client needs.
• Valid driver license and auto insurance often needed for client visits.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, ambulation, dressing and meals.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal prep, errands or appointments accompaniment.
• Offer companionship, monitor patient condition and administer reminders for medications if instructed.
• Utilize safety equipment such as gait belts and lifting devices as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• Vehicle Registration
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
