Job summary

Right at Home Miami Metro, FL is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our Lake Worth team. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping to clients in their homes.

A Level 2 background check, Palm Beach County badge for HHAs, and a valid driver license are required. We offer flexible schedules, paid travel between visits, and benefits including health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate (HHAs must have Palm Beach County badge).
• Level 2 background check required.
• Valid driver license or state ID.
• Auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• CPR card (not online).
• TB or Chest X-ray.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Assist with meals, hygiene, dressing, ambulation and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
• Assist with medications reminders and use of lifting devices.
• Follow care plans and document changes for supervisors.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
