Cherokee Specialty Care, part of Care Initiatives, is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Cherokee, IA. Join a compassionate team at a 62-bed skilled nursing community and work Full-Time on the Weekend Package (12‑hour days).

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, monitoring health, and supporting residents and families. Competitive wages and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications
