Job summary

Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in the Athens/Etowah area. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants, with a 3x12 hour shift pattern and rotating weekends, nights 7p–7a.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current Tennessee Certified Nurse Aide license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily patient care tasks as delegated by RN/LPN, including turning, bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Document care and monitor vital signs and intake/output.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and stocked.

Schedule

How You'll Contribute

• Responsible for CNAs completion of their daily duties including documentation, turning/reposition, showers, dining, etc.
• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
