Job description

Position Overview

Dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers are needed to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Enfield, CT. This is a part-time overnight position (9:45 pm – 6:15 am).

Schedule

• Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Saturday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday
• 40+ hours every 2 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transportation, and restorative care.
• Document care and communicate with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to meet established standards of care.
• Contribute to a warm, caring convent environment and support the religious life of sisters through meaningful interpersonal interactions.

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification is a plus.
• Long‑term resident or home care experience preferred.
