Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. You will provide routine daily nursing care such as bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting under licensed staff supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is a graduate of a state-approved CNA program, holds an active CNA license, CPR certification, and may have one year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) under supervision.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
