Priority Management is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for full-time positions at Cedar Hill Healthcare Center in Cedar Hill, TX. Shifts include 6a-2p and 2p-10p; duties involve direct resident care and support to promote independence and dignity.

Successful candidates will have a current Texas Nurse Aide certification and English communication skills. Responsibilities include safety, hygiene, feeding assistance, and responding to call lights promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State Nurse Aide Registry (Texas).
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Follow the assigned resident schedule as directed by the charge nurse.
• Assist or transfer residents; lift and move as required.
• Respond to call lights promptly and provide care as needed.
• Assist or feed residents as appropriate.
• Keep residents clean, dry and comfortable; provide incontinent care as needed.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment and perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
