Job summary

Interim HealthCare in West Virginia is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate personal care in a group home setting. You will work with RNs, LPNs, and aides to ensure high-quality patient care.

Shifts run 8a-8p or 8p-8a every other weekend; times can flex to 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Compensation is $23 hourly with weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Active WV Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws.
• Compassionate, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
