Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Amarillo, TX seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to follow care plans, perform direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and support a safe, clean environment for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA licensure by state, and at least one year of geriatric care experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time positions, with opportunities for growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Follow all care plan directives and administer direct patient care.
• Initiate resident needs assessment and report changes to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team to record vital signs and ADL documentation.
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment.
• Respond to call lights and assess resident needs promptly.

• Initiate resident needs assessment and safety by observing and reporting changes to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and regularly assess residents' needs and verify needs are met.

• Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident's needs and verify needs of the resident are met.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.
