Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our Clinical team. You will provide direct patient care, follow care plans, and help residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, mission-driven environment.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with higher rates based on experience. Shifts run 7am–7pm and 6:30am–6:30pm, supporting a stable, resident-centered workplace focused on growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plan directives and administer direct patient care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring.
• Transport residents to dining rooms and events; report changes to nursing staff.

Join our outstanding Clinical team as our new Certified Nurse Aide today! A few details about the role:

Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents, and transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities. Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse. Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs. Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment. Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident's needs and verify needs of the resident are met.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.
