Responsibilities

• Providing personal care such as baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linens, assisting with dressing/undressing, skin care, toileting, and maintaining a clean, orderly living area, within scope of practice as assigned by supervising clinician.
• Measuring and recording vital signs like temperature, pulse, respiration, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure when ordered, demonstrating competency.
• Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services, as ordered, with demonstrated competency.
• Assisting patients with self-administered medication.
• Reporting patient condition changes to the nurse or case manager.

Qualifications

• State-certified nurse aide.
• Completed required training successfully.
• At least 18 years old.
• Current CPR certification or equivalent, as regulated by state and federal laws.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.
