Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Hawaii is seeking Certified Nurse Aides to provide nursing care and assist with daily living activities for residents, including personal and restorative care. CNAs orient residents, assist with bathroom, call system, meals, and activity calendar; respond to calls and alarms, and communicate with the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications include high school diploma, Hawaii CNA certification or enrollment, and TB clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
• Orient residents to the unit and facility; inform them of meal schedule and activity calendar; assist with daily routines.
• Respond to resident calls, bells, and alarms; relay information to Charge Nurse when required.

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.

Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).
