Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated Certified Middle School Math Teacher for a partner school on the Northside of Jacksonville. The role focuses on Algebra I instruction and a strong mathematics background to support student learning.

The teacher will create an engaging, structured classroom that strengthens mathematical skills, builds confidence, and prepares students for continued academic success. A Florida teaching certification is preferred or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current Florida Teaching Certificate Or Statement Of Eligibility Preferred/required.
• Certification appropriate for Middle Grades Mathematics or Mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of Algebra I concepts and instruction.
• Previous Middle School Teaching Experience Preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction in Middle School Mathematics and Algebra I.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Florida academic standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varying student learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
• Maintain an organized, positive, and productive classroom environment.
• Prepare students for applicable assessments and high school-level mathematics.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation.
