Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center (a LifeBridge Health facility) is hiring a Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) to deliver direct resident care in a 50-bed long-term care/memory unit in Baltimore, MD. You will administer non-narcotic meds under supervision and support residents with daily living activities, safety and comfort.

Required: High school diploma or GED, Maryland GNA and CMA certifications, and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required.
• Current Maryland Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) certification required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide resident-centered care in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Prepare and administer non-narcotic medications as ordered by the physician.
• Document medications and resident responses accurately.
• Monitor residents for side effects and changes in condition.
