Job summary

Mountain Ridge Center in New Hampshire is hiring MNA/LNA split-duty caregivers. Shifts include 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, with part-time and 12-hour shifts available. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time positions.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, CNAs administer medications and medicated creams, monitor vital signs, and maintain medication carts and pharmacy communications to ensure safe patient care and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a state-approved medication aide training course.
• Must have completed a state-approved CNA training program.
• Must be a CNA with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications as prescribed; document administration.
• Maintain medication supply; clean and restock carts and the medication room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations.

Position Highlights

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to their medical and physical needs.
