Job summary

Mountain Ridge Center is seeking MNA/LNA split duty caregivers to provide medication administration and direct patient care in a long-term care setting.

Positions offer day and evening shifts (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. CNA experience and state-approved training are required, along with English proficiency to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and medicated creams under nurse supervision.
• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications and document administration.
• Maintain medication supply and restock carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations.

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
