Job summary

Mountain Ridge Center is hiring a Licensed Medication Aide position with split shifts (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) in Franklin, NH. A $5,000 sign-on bonus accompanies outstanding benefits and higher pay in lieu of benefits.

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will administer medications, maintain supply and documentation, and monitor vital signs as needed. Required CNA training and state-approved meds aide training accompany a year of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medication Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations.
• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy
