The Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to support Veterans at a Missouri Veterans Home. You will administer medications, document delivery, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality Veteran care.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with orientation of new staff, and documenting in the EMR. This on-site role offers a competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as certified medication technician in Missouri.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication utilizing acceptable standards of practice.
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and evidence of follow-up observations for effect.
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Assist in the orientation of new team members.
• Provide Veteran care as needed according to standards of practice.
• Comply with Veteran’s individualized care plan and support the Veterans.
• Document information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record (EMR), both accurately and timely.
