Missouri Veterans Home is hiring a Certified Medication Technician to join a dedicated team serving our Veterans. You will administer medications, document delivery, and support care plans in compliance with standards of practice.

Job description

Hourly Pay

• $19.94 day shift
• $21.94 evening and night shift
• Additional weekend shift differential available

Examples of Work

• Administer medication utilizing acceptable standards of practice
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and evidence of follow-up observations for effect
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Assist in the orientation of new team members
• Provide Veteran care as needed according to standards of practice
• Comply with Veteran’s individualized care plan and support the Veterans
• Document information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record (EMR), both accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Valid certification as certified medication technician in Missouri
• 1+ years of relevant experience
