Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Certified Medication Technician in the Town of Florida, NY. The role focuses on administering medications under RN supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining medication records.

The ideal candidate is a High School graduate, has experience in a medical setting, and holds certification as a Medication Technician. Compensation ranges from $20.39 to $22.66 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One year of related experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Certified as a Medication Technician in the state of service and current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery.
• Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors.
• Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards.
