Wellpath is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer prescribed medications under RN supervision, document administrations in the MAR, and uphold infection control and safety standards. This role supports HIPAA compliance, participates in audits, maintains medication supplies, and contributes to patient confidentiality and quality care within the Med Pass department.

A high school diploma, 1 year medical experience, and current CPR certification are required; state MT

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must be certified as a Medication Technician in the state of service and have current CPR Certification.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations
• Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery
• Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors
• Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards
