Job summary

The Lutheran Home in Missouri is hiring a full-time Certified Medication Tech (CMT) to support residents with medication administration and daily care, guided by values of service, excellence, dignity, and grace. The role offers a predictable schedule and teamwork with a dedicated nursing staff.

Shifts include Day 6:45am–7:15pm and Night 6:45pm–7:15am; every other weekend off on a 2-week cycle. Benefits include sign-on bonus, paid holidays, earned time off, medical and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CMT certification.
• Current Missouri CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents under supervision of a nurse.
• Take vital signs and monitor response to medications; report adverse effects.
• Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely per facility policies.
• Communicate residents' requests or concerns promptly to the nurse.
• Promote respect, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Administer prescribed medications to residentsand maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse
• Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction
• Assist residents with ADL care as needed
• Answer call lightsand take appropriate action
• Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures
• Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident’s conditions or incidents to the nurse
• Communicates residents'requests or concerns in a timely manner
• Encourage respect, communication, and teamwork
• Participate in ongoing staff education and training

In this Full-time position, you will have a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days.

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:45am – 7:15pm
