Job summary

Missouri Veterans Home seeks a Certified Medication Technician to join our dedicated team in Missouri. You will administer medications, document delivery, and support Veterans in day‑to‑day care within a veteran‑centric facility.

The role offers hourly pay between $19.94 and $21.94 depending on shift, with additional weekend differential possible. Prior MO-certified tech experience and EMR documentation skills are required to ensure high‑quality care for our Veterans.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as certified medication technician in Missouri.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to document accurately in EMR and follow the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication according to standards of practice.
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and follow‑up observations.
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and CNAs.
• Assist in the orientation of new team members.
• Provide veteran care according to standards of practice.
• Comply with Veteran's individualized care plan and support Veterans.
• Document information in the EMR accurately and timely.

Examples of Work

• Administer medication utilizing acceptable standards of practice
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and evidence of follow‑up observations for effect
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Assist in the orientation of new team members
• Provide Veteran care as needed according to standards of practice
• Comply with Veteran's individualized care plan and support the Veterans
• Document information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record (EMR), both accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Valid certification as certified medication technician in Missouri
• 1+ years of relevant experience
