State of Missouri's Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join a dedicated team focused on the wellbeing of our Veterans. You will administer medications, document delivery, and coordinate with CNAs and other staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Administer medication in line with standards of practice
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and evidence of follow-up observations for effect
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Assist in the orientation of new team members
• Provide Veteran care as needed according to standards of practice
• Document information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record (EMR), both accurately and timely

Hourly Pay

• $19.94 day shift
• $21.94 evening and night shift
• Additional weekend shift differential available

Examples of Work

• Administer medication utilizing acceptable standards of practice
• Document accuracy for medication delivery and evidence of follow-up observations for effect
• Serve as liaison between charge personnel and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Assist in the orientation of new team members
• Provide Veteran care as needed according to standards of practice
• Comply with Veteran’s individualized care plan and support the Veterans
• Document information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record (EMR), both accurately and timely
