Job summary

Pleasant Valley Manor Care Center in Liberty, MO, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on the dayshift. You will administer medications, monitor residents, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate records to support individual care plans.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team in a compassionate, patient-centered environment that has served the community since 1982.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents when necessary
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and nursing procedures

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
• Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and timely records of medication administration and resident care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
