Job summary

Medicalodges is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications and provide direct care to residents at our Neosho facility.

The position requires current CMA certification in good standing in the state, knowledge of safe medication administration, and the ability to observe and report adverse effects. We Own It! Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide/technician certification in good standing in the state.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration technique.
• Ability to recognize complications and adverse effects from medication.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrates patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medication and treatment as directed.
• Observes, records, and reports symptoms and conditions related to medication interaction, adverse drug reactions, or side effects.
• Stores medications safely and keeps medication areas clean and orderly.
• Monitors medications to ensure they are refilled as required by policies.
• Obtains vital signs and weights on residents as assigned and directed.
• Performs CNA duties when required.

Job Summary
