Qualifications

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Health System, Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City’s premier non-profit Life Care retirement community. Located between Westport and the Plaza we offer our residents a special place to live and our employees a truly wonderful place to work. We are looking for a highly qualified and career-minded Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to work as a CMT in our new Memory Care Unit.

The Shift: This is a full-time day position consisting of 3 12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.


CMT's partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carryout resident care plans. The CMT provides medication administration in addition to other duties related to activities of daily living.

• Medication administration
• Assisting residents with daily living activities in assisted living
• Providing resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurse
• Answering resident calls and requests for assistance
• Serving food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutrition
• Assisting residents in mobility and transport activities
• Collaborating with other health care team members to enhance the provision of resident care
• Supporting resident safety and satisfaction by performing regular rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members while providing excellent customer service
