Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to safely administer medications under the supervision of licensed nurses. The role demands precision, compassion, strong communication, and the ability to build trust with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri CMT certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Observe residents for side effects and report adverse reactions to the nursing team.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) is responsible for the safe administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role requires attentiveness, precision, and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
• Observe residents for side effects and report any adverse reactions to the nursing team.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:
