Water's Edge of Bradenton is a premier independent and assisted living senior community located in Bradenton, FL. We are seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team and provide safe medication administration under the guidance of a nurse.

The role requires completing a CMA course and at least one year of related care experience, with strong English communication and interpersonal skills to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Certified Medication Aide course.
• One year of experience as a Residential Care Aide or a certified aide.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Six Rights of Medication Administration and accurately record medications.
• Notify the nurse immediately if a medication error occurs.
• Observe and report to the nurse any symptoms or conditions related to medications.
• Determine and record the effectiveness of medications in a timely manner as required by regulations.
• Store medications safely and accurately according to policies and regulations.
• Monitor medications for accountability from order to change of shift as required.
• Obtain, record, and report vital signs during medication administration.
