Job summary

The Village at Rockville is hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support residents' health by safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs. You will join a collaborative team and contribute to compassionate, high-quality resident care in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a CMT certification, a high school diploma, and at least one year of CMT experience, with strong communication and EHR skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing and Maryland-specific credentials.
• At least 1 year of hands-on CMT experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong medication administration skills and attention to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
• Document all medication administration and report changes in resident condition.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse or delegating nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Complete and renew Maryland Board of Nursing certification.
• Follow state regulations and facility policies; report incidents promptly.

What You'll Do

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
• Document all medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification
• Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration
• Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly
