Job summary

Richland Square, a Memory Care Community in Greensboro, NC, seeks Certified Medication Technicians for full-time 2nd shift roles. You will administer medications, oversee resident care, and maintain dignity and rights of residents while collaborating with a care team.

Must have a State Approved Medication Aide course, be at least 18, and hold a CNA/PMAP certification or equivalent. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents' rights with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and maintains continuing education per state rules.
• Remains calm under stressful conditions and protects resident confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Documents thoroughly and reports changes in resident condition promptly to the supervisor.
• Operates equipment safely and adheres to community policies and procedures.
• Follows infection control practices and understands fire and emergency procedures.
