The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and resident care oversight in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This is a Full-Time opportunity on the 2nd shift (3p-11p). Must have a Medication Technician certification and be available for every other weekend and holiday rotations. Competitive benefits and supportive team environment await.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Able to express self in written and oral communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work in an environment caring for seniors without safety risks.
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and state-required continuing education.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Documents care in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.
• Work schedules and tasks are completed per community policies and procedures.
• Operates equipment safely and only with prior training.
• Implements infection control precautions in all activities.
• Familiar with fire and emergency procedures and reports safety violations.
